Preparing files for production

Before you upload artwork or place an order, a few practical notes on file quality and print readiness.

Can I use AI-generated images for print?

AI-generated visuals often look acceptable on screen but are usually not ready for physical production. They tend to be low resolution, lack proper bleed and colour setup, and are rarely supplied as true print-ready vector or high-resolution files. If your artwork started as AI-generated content, it will generally need to be recreated or professionally rebuilt before we can manufacture. Select “Have Vireo create my design (+$120)”, or contact us for artwork preparation.

What counts as print-ready artwork?

Where possible, supply PDF, AI, EPS, or SVG with fonts outlined or embedded, and include bleed when required. High-resolution PNG or JPG may suit some applications. We review every submission and will let you know if anything needs adjustment before production.

What happens if my files are not print-ready?

We will advise you during artwork review. In many cases we can prepare or rebuild files for production (additional design charges may apply). Manufacturing does not begin until production-ready artwork is approved by you.
